Immersive

While working on the Georgia Civil Rights Cold Cases Project at Emory University, Meredith researched the life and work of Jesse Max Barber, a Black journalist who survived the 1906 Atlanta massacre. The story she wrote about Barber was sent to the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. There, it was selected to be adapted into a virtual reality project which premiered at South by Southwest in 2025. The project is available for download as a mobile application.
